I was shocked to say the least. I fell in love all over again with the world Ms. I didn’t like Michael at first, but he really grew on me and now I actually respect him. Oooh God, Strm was absolutely fabulous.

So you see, a cloth is a perfect comparison for her personality. They both have a history with the flame, and while the one between them is fanned and grows, they learn that their connection– to what they both fear and marvel at– is going to draw them so close in so many ways.
That’s actually kinda cool, anyway. Layne is pretty awesome all around though. The storyline was thrilling and I enjoyed it very much! I mean, I liked Storm, but Spark exceeded any sort of expectations I had. Chris is the youngest brother and deep down, a little lonely.

Kemmefer one interaction causes her to continue to cross paths with the Merrick boys over the course of the book and from that moment on, there is very little downtime for the reader.

All of a sudden there is a rash of fires in their town and Gabe is suspected of setting them. Really, who bigid us has never been rejected or felt completely alone, even in a crowded room, even among family?
Sometimes he’s very over-protective, but that was totally understandable given what they’ve all gone through. This is Gabriel and Layne’s book. The Merrick brothers are supposed to appear even more sexy because of the comment about it being a common occurrence to find a random girl in the house for one of them. Becca becomes increasingly conflicted in her feelings for both boys.
As a character, I felt a bit less enthusiastic about Becca. I wasn’t sure how exciting a story about element control could be, so I was happily surprised by the constant sensation of danger that I felt while reading this novel. She scares them off, and in the process, becomes a target as well.
Even if it’s gonna be focused on Hunter. Becca know nothing of this “world” and one night when she sees 2 guys beating up Chris, she goes for it and saves him.

Hi brigid, so glad to hear you are writing another series about brothers. I hope it goes on and on and on and this author never stops writing. I can’t to read Breathless and Spirit! Gabriel, one of the twins is the mini Tony Stark.
Because I really, really liked it. I was happy to welcome stom brothers back into my life, as well. They had this wonderfully complex friendship that felt tenuous and important. I love a great YA paranormal that is well done. I gave up on this cause a lot of things irritated me, but oh well if I had known this book would have them I wouldn’t have tried it tsorm the first place. Just kidding, I’m not, but I’m feeling patient and maybe the next book proves to be better.
But it’s a few steps higher on the originality scale than I expected – and I tend to be pretty optimistic. It amazed me how closely the dialogues sound like everyday teenage conversations.
